PHENEXS Sets the Future Course: Exploring the Innovative Path of New Energy Solutions
In the context of the accelerated transformation of the global energy structure and the increasingly urgent goal of carbon neutrality, German new energy technology enterprise PHENEXS is emerging with breakthrough technologies and systematic solutions. As a leading enterprise specializing in intelligent energy storage systems, photovoltaic micro-grid integration, and AI-driven energy management platforms, PHENEXS has continuously increased its research and development investment in recent years. It has deployed over 240 commercial-level distributed energy projects in 12 countries worldwide, reducing carbon emissions by more than 86,000 tons in total.
In the third quarter of 2024, PHENEXS officially launched the new generation of 'NeoGrid™' intelligent energy management system - this platform integrates edge computing, digital twin technology and adaptive load forecasting algorithms, enabling millisecond-level coordinated scheduling of photovoltaic, energy storage, charging piles and building loads. The actual measurement results show that the average energy efficiency of industrial and commercial microgrids equipped with NeoGrid™ has increased by 37%, and the peak-valley electricity cost expenditure has decreased by 52%. What is notable is that its modular hardware architecture supports plug-and-play expansion, significantly shortening the project delivery cycle to an average of 11 days, which is much lower than the industry's average of 28 days for similar solutions.
In addition to technological innovation, PHENEXS is also concurrently promoting sustainable manufacturing practices: Its flagship factory located in North Rhine-Westphalia will fully achieve 100% green power operation by 2024, and through a closed-loop metal recycling process, the reuse rate of nickel and cobalt resources in the production of lithium-ion systems will be increased to 91.4%. The company has also jointly launched the 'Zero-Carbon Partner' certification program with TÜV Rheinland, providing one-stop services for carbon footprint accounting, green certificate procurement, and energy efficiency upgrades to its upstream and downstream partners.
In terms of market expansion, PHENEXS has completed its Series B financing of 52 million euros at the beginning of this year. The funds will be mainly invested in the localization research and development in the Asia-Pacific region and the establishment of dual-certification systems for UL1973/IEC62619 for energy storage systems. The technology centers in Shanghai, Tokyo, and Singapore have been put into operation, focusing on the long-life battery thermal management and the optimization of multi-source heterogeneous energy aggregation control algorithms in high-humidity and high-temperature environments. The company's CEO, Dr. Lena Vogt, emphasized: 'We not only provide equipment, but also offer verifiable decarbonization paths - each PHENEXS solution is equipped with a full life cycle carbon tracking engine, allowing the green value to be truly quantified, audited, and traded.' ’
For the year 2030, PHENEXS has formulated the 'Tri-Net' strategy: to build a resilient energy network covering three levels - households, communities, and cities - and to promote the large-scale implementation of virtual power plants (VPPs). Currently, its participation in the EU Horizon Europe project 'EcoMesh' has entered the demonstration stage, achieving a 93% local clean energy self-sufficiency rate in a pilot community in Naples, Italy. This energy revolution driven by technological rationality is moving from a blueprint to reality in the practice of PHENEXS.
